The Parish Advocate will work with the pastor to develop resources to welcome and include persons with special needs in our
parish by:
Education; we need to work to sensitize the parish to the needs and gifts of persons with special needs.
Spiritual; we need to be welcoming persons with special needs and their families into parish life and parish programs.
Service; be being able to make referals to appropriate agencies and diocesen offices when needed.
Accessibility; prepare to make all aspects of a parish building and grounds accessible for all.
