2009-2010 Faith Formation Dates

FIRE (Family-centered Intergenerational Religious Education. FIF (Forward in Faith) FIRE Sessions will be held on Wednesdays beginning with a 5:30 pm meal; followed by a program from 6-7:30pm. A free will offering will be accepted and a RSVP will be needed for materials and food preparation.

 Parent Handbook 
Forward in Faith (FIF) will again meet from 6-7:15 pm this year for children in grades kindergarden-8th grade. They are all Wednesdays. In addition, we encourage a family @ home night to nurture one's household of faith by eating and praying together and/or spending quality time with family members. Parents must intentionally schedule @ home night in order to make this concept a priority in your household. Additionally, an adult formation experience will be offered simultaneously with FIF. Topics are: Female Spirituality and Male Spirituality. On the nights with adult sessions, there will also be a child-led prayer service completing the evening.

Basic Catholic prayers, beliefs and practices need to be taught and practiced in the home at each grade level.

  • Apr. 24/25 1st Communion Celebrations
  • Apr. 28 Last FIF. Prayer led by catechists.
